Principal Management Team

Matthew J. Shulman

Mr. Shulman is a Managing Partner of Fairway Capital Partners, which he co-founded in early 2007. Prior to forming Fairway, Mr. Shulman worked on acquisitions and asset management for a New York based real estate investment firm. At the firm, he focused on underwriting and origination of both loans and property acquisitions. Mr. Shulman received a Masters in Real Estate Finance from New York University and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Arizona. Matt is also an adjunct professor of Real Estate Finance and Investment at New York University.

Steven J. Rosenberg

Mr. Rosenberg is a Managing Partner of Fairway Capital Partners, which he co-founded in early 2007. Prior to forming Fairway, Mr. Rosenberg managed a portfolio of properties for a New York based real estate investment firm. In addition to property management, Mr. Rosenberg focused on acquisitions of non-performing commercial real estate loans at the firm. Prior to working with the firm, Mr. Rosenberg worked at the Fairmont Funding Corporation, where he was responsible for property acquisitions and development. Mr. Rosenberg received a B.S. in Business, Management and Finance from City University of New York.
